Sword-wielding 'former pupil' wearing a Star Wars mask is shot by police after hacking teacher to death and slashing two other students during rampage at Swedish school

• Teacher dead, two pupils injured after sword attack at school in Sweden
• The injured pupils are both boys, one aged 11 and the other aged 15
• A second teacher was also injured in the attack on Thursday morning  
• Masked attacker shot inside the school by police and is now in hospital 
• School in Trollhättan, Sweden, has students from pre-school to year 9

A male teacher has died and two children are injured after a man 'wearing a Star Wars mask' armed with a sword carried out an attack at a school in south-west Sweden on Thursday morning.

A second teacher was also injured in the attack, and has been rushed to hospital alongside the injured students, two boys aged 11 and 15.

The assailant entered the school in Trollhättan, north of Gothenburg, shortly before 10amCET and began attacking students and teachers with a sword or a large knife.
